Want to do a cleanup, but it's not Coastal Cleanup time? Go to  VolunteerCleanup.org  for other beach cleanups happening in your area. Register Email coastalcleanup@broward.org to register for this year’s cleanup event. Please include your name, contact information, organization, site at which you wish to participate, and number of attendees. Bring a bucket/Save a bag! Although each site will have trashbags for volunteers, if you have a 5-gallon bucket at home you can bring to use, that will keep one more plastic bag out of a trash disposal site.
Lora McKinney Brings us this information about the upcoming annual GLOBAL beach cleanup. Please register as an Ikce Wicasa Tiospaye member if you plan to help with the effort. It’s just a few hours of light work, but it’s on the beach. If you gotta do volunteer work,  it don’t get no better…
